Out and about

It was just too nice of a day to spend inside today. We had the kids program in church this morning and had nothing else on the agenda today so we decided to go explore.
We picked a new trail up on the mountain because we new there was a waterfall somewhere in it.
Well, we found it!


And B and Owen explored it! That kid has no fear. I couldn't look as they made their way back. He will take years off my life.

There was a really cool 'dripping' wall. The greenery was so damp that it dripped in tiny waterfalls. If you look close you can see them but it's hard to tell, so you'll just have to believe me.

I love these 'marshmallow' berries. They look so wintry!

What is it with boys and sticks?

Shortly after this we met some friends that were hiking in the trails with their kids as well. We hadn't realized that we'd come up right under their house so we all hiked up and were invited to coffee and a visit while the kids played. A perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
