Well, we did all the Halloween-ish stuff there was to be done. I watched the costume parade at school. Got a picture of each of my boys and then left because it takes SO long, but at least I was there...right? Then we came home to ready for the big candy gathering fest. It's so funny to watch the change each year they get older. Their cousins come and we all go together which is so fun! The first year or two, it's rather a hard concept to understand. You have to parade from house to house, say trick-or-treat, open your bag for complete strangers to plop candy into it, say thank you and repeat at least 20 more times. Weird. This year, not so much! We could hardly slow them down!

All in all a good night. We had no injuries this year (last year there were a few scrapes and bangs) and us adults happily sipped coffee and baileys to keep warm while the children ran circles around us. :)

This was the first year we had nobody go trick-or-treating and I can't believe how much I missed it. Sounds like your crew had a great time!
