The Glorious Weekend

Wow, has it really been a week? Everyday life comes back so quickly doesn't it?
As expected shopping was a blast and much was accomplished. All but one birthday and one Christmas gift have been bought! I love having a handle on gifts this early. Then I can spend December baking, wrapping and belting out Christmas carols. :)
And as Murphy would have it, when one is not looking for, or needing to buy things for oneself, multitudes will jump off the rack and look fantastic when you try them on. It was a sweater and shoes kinda weekend. What can I say!

I don't usually do a lot of navy but I fell in love as soon as I put it on.

So cozy. I've worn them every day this week. And seeing as my old winter boots are cracked and let water in, I was especially thankful for these seeing as it snowed last night!

And these. Well, what can I say. They are most certainly not winter shoes but the cute factor won in the end. And the price. Sometimes you just have to have a cute pair of shoes. Am I hearing amen from the crowd?!
Unfortunately when I left B wasn't feeling too well and now it seems Ethan has it. Ugh. So he's home today hopefully to be better by tomorrow as he has a playoff game and we have B's Christmas party to attend. Only time will tell.

Are your boots BareTraps? They resemble mine a bit.

Sounds like a successful trip!! LOVE the boots and sweater! Maybe we need an adult evening out so you can model them for us... we're almost due aren't we?
