Dinners

We had some really yummy food this weekend. I just had to share.
First off Teriyaki chicken, roasted nugget potatoes and Caesar salad.

Kind of summery but so tasty. Especially if you marinate the chicken for most of the day.
And then...seafood lasagna.

I discovered this recipe several years ago and don't make it often as it's quite rich but it is so yummy each and every time I make it. The sauce is made from scratch - chicken broth and white sauce based - and then tiny shrimp and crab meat instead of the ground beef and tomato sauce standard. It is really tasty and well worth the effort. And it makes for great leftovers. Another plus in my books.

Thanks for making me hungry the Teriyaki chicken, roasted nugget potatoes and Caesar salad really does look very tasty. Here in a bit will go into the kitchen and get a bite to eat as we fixed a roast with carrots and potatoes in a slow cooker.
