For the past several years my mom, sister and I spend a day baking up a storm and filling our freezers with Christmas cookies. This year we did several double batches of dough the day before so that we could start rolling, cutting and baking right away. I wish we would have counted how many we made. It was really quite a pile.
We made the usual peppermint cookies, sugar cookies, jam jams and peanut butter balls.

I know there are 157 of these. Wow.

Now they are all safely tucked away to await the freezer and later to be hauled out and iced.

It was a good day.

What a fantastic way to get your baking done. I think I would do that too if I lived close to my mom and my sister. Also, I wish I could reach into my monitor and grab one of those jam jams. :)
Like the big snowflake :) and I will have one of those peanutbutter balls mmmm...
That is so fun! Good for you. It sure feels good to get that out of the way and know you have so many goodies for the family and friends that pop in.
Word Verification is wadjam. New kind of cookie?
Since you are so well organized, feel free to do my baking as well.
I could give you my list!
